San Gabriel Presbyterian Church

Hamilton and Associates collaborated successfully with San Antonio architect Dow Patterson in the design and construction of a new campus for San Gabriel Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, Texas. The design team met the client's needs by developing a plan that provides maximum flexibility in the current phase along with a site planned for future expansion.

The facility includes a spacious narthex to allow the congregation to circulate freely and mingle before and after services. The light filled sanctuary's moveable seating and open side chapels maximize options for the use of the room.

Support spaces include administrative offices, a warming kitchen, nursery, library, choir area, classrooms and AV room.

The exterior palette of stone, stucco and metal roofing evokes the Texas Hill Country. Inside the building, ample use of daylighting, stained concrete floors and a combination of warm and cool colors provide a comfortable and tranquil atmosphere.
